Introduction
Beicang Cultural and Creative Block is a national-level tourism and leisure block hidden in the bustling Guanyinqiao business district. It was rebuilt from the warehouse of Jiangbei Textile Factory built in the 1960s. Retaining original red brick buildings and industrial structures, it mixes old industrial heritage with modern art. There are creative boutiques, specialty cafes, art exhibition spaces and the famous 24-hour Beicang Library. It is a popular spot for photos, slow city walking and afternoon tea. Many cultural events and art markets are held here all year round.
