Introduction
Hongya Cave is a famous 4A-level scenic spot located in Yuzhong District, Chongqing. It is built along the cliff by the Jialing River, featuring classic Bayu stilt houses stacked in 11 layers. The layered ancient wooden buildings look fantastic when lit up at night, often compared to the fantasy town in Spirited Away. This unique 3D pedestrian complex gathers local snack stalls, specialty shops, restaurants and viewing platforms. Visitors can admire stunning night views of the Jialing River and Qiansimen Bridge.
