文殊院是全国汉族地区重点佛教寺院，坐落于成都青羊区市中心，始建于隋朝，距今已有 1400 多年历史，被誉为长江流域四大禅林之首。寺院为传统木构院落格局，沿中轴线分布五大殿宇。寺内珍藏康熙御笔 “空林” 牌匾、玄奘法师顶骨舍利、古佛经、玉佛等珍贵文物。院内古柏、银杏环绕，禅意清幽。游客可在山门领取免费清香，还能品尝素斋，在茶馆喝盖碗茶。寺院门外就是文殊坊商业街，汇集各类小吃与手作店铺，是成都市区热门人文打卡点。入寺着装需得体庄重。
Wenshu Monastery is one of the national key Buddhist temples for Han people in China, situated in Qingyang District, central Chengdu. First built in the Sui Dynasty over 1400 years ago, it is known as the top of the Four Great Zen Temples along the Yangtze River. The whole complex adopts a traditional wooden courtyard layout with five main halls arranged along the central axis. It houses precious cultural relics including the imperial plaque "Kong Lin" from Emperor Kangxi, fragments of the skull bone of Master Xuanzang, ancient sutras and jade Buddha statues. The quiet garden with old cypress and ginkgo trees creates a peaceful Zen atmosphere. Visitors can receive free incense sticks at the gate, taste vegetarian food and drink traditional covered-bowl tea in the teahouse. Right outside the temple lies Wenshufang Commercial Block, full of snacks and handicraft shops. It is a popular cultural stop close to downtown Chengdu. Please dress modestly when entering the monastery.
