Introduction
Gunong Village is a quiet Tibetan village in Tagong Town, Kangding, Garzê Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan. Sitting at an altitude of about 3730 meters, it faces the majestic Yala Snow Mountain directly with unobstructed views. Winding streams, alpine meadows, yaks and traditional Tibetan houses form a breathtaking landscape. It is a famous spot to watch the golden sunrise over snow peaks, stargaze and enjoy wild camping. Visitors can also experience local Tibetan culture, horse riding and take photos with prayer flags. There is no entrance fee for this scenic village.
