Heming Teahouse is a century-old classic Sichuan teahouse located inside Chengdu People’s Park, founded in 1923. It is the best spot to experience authentic slow Chengdu lifestyle. Visitors sit on traditional bamboo chairs by the lake and order gaiwan tea. You can watch local residents chat, play mahjong and enjoy long-spout copper kettle tea pouring performance. Optional ear cleaning service and Sichuan snacks are available here. It retains the traditional Bashu tea culture and has become an iconic landmark of Chengdu leisure culture.
