Introduction
Kuanzhai Alleys is a famous historic and cultural block in downtown Chengdu, built in the Qing Dynasty. It consists of three parallel lanes: Wide Alley, Narrow Alley and Well Alley, with classic Sichuan quadrangle courtyards. Wide Alley features quiet traditional courtyards and teahouses. Narrow Alley is lined with boutique shops, cafes and restaurants. Well Alley displays murals and folk art. Red lanterns hang all over the lanes, and the night view is incredibly charming. Visitors can taste Sichuan snacks, watch Sichuan opera face-changing performance, take photos in Hanfu and experience authentic Chengdu slow lifestyle. It is one of the most representative landmarks of Chengdu.
